Throughout the year, we collect food donations for a local food pantry. Donations can be dropped off in the education building lobby.
Throughout the year, we collect donations of various items to pack the shoeboxes in November. Last year we packed about 60 shoeboxes, which were shipped to Chile and Ecuador. For the month of May, we have some items on an Amazon wishlist. Purchasing these items this way will be cheaper and easier that purchasing them from a store. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/29AVG0MVYPM07?ref_=wl_share
Also we are still short on the requested items for March (tubes of toy animals and hot wheel-style toy vehicles) so you are more than welcome to still supply those. For more information on Operation Christmas Child, click here.
Not only do we support the SBC's IMB through the Cooperative Program and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, we also support several missionaries through prayer and financial support.
One of the those missionaries is Jennifer Hernandez and her family who are serving the Lord in Honduras. From their organization's website: "Jennifer and Osmany Hernandez have served in Honduras since 2002, and live there with their five children. They lead the New Life Project, Bethany Medical Clinic, and a missionary training school. Pray for the Hernandez family as they raise their family, reach the lost, and work to educate and encourage the village of Pane. Specific prayer needs include financial support for their programs, as well as health concerns for Jennifer." For more information about their organization, click here.
