What We're About:
The Vision of THRIVE is seeing students become mature disciples of Jesus.
- A Mature disciple of Jesus has a thorough knowledge of Scripture.
- A Mature disciple of Jesus has a thoroughly Christian worldview.
- A Mature disciple of Jesus has developed the habits of a healthy Christian lifestyle.
- A Mature disciple of Jesus is actively involved in the life of the church, using their gifts to serve God.
The Mission of THRIVE is developing students into whole-hearted, faithful disciples of Jesus flourishing in their relationship with Jesus. Whole-hearted disciples of Jesus flourish in their relationship with Jesus when:
- They are engaged in developing a thorough knowledge of Scripture.
- They are engaged in developing a thoroughly Christian worldview.
- They are engaged in developing the habits of a healthy Christian lifestyle.
- They are engaged in active involvement in the life of the church, seeking to use their gifts to serve God.
The Purpose of THRIVE is to lead students into spiritual maturity and faithfulness, that they might be prepared to live for Jesus as a light in the darkness, by helping them to develop a thorough knowledge of Scripture, a thoroughly Christian worldview, the habits of a healthy Christian lifestyle, and active involvement in church life, using the gifts that God has given them.
